- I will be speaking at this event on April 22 in NY.
- In business today, the reality is that we are almost always "on."

Good riddance, we don't need losers like this mucking up technology.Steve, how about promoting an Edelman client for once, like dotMobi!! dotMobi has been embraced and adveritised by the likes of ESPN, BOFA, FOXNEWS, Purina, National Geographic, UFC, BMW and several other major brands..... dotMobi helped crush your Mowser.
I appreciate and respect your previous response.
I understand your perspective regarding your "fair and balanced" blogging -- most readers respect that you are not an Edelman hack.
Steve, I've learned more from you about the nexus of technology and social media reading this blog then from any another person or source.
However, I've been tracking this trend since 2005, and I'm stunned that you have not discussed Mobile TV -- this is an 10,000 pound elephant that will cause a 10.0 seismic shift on the technological Richter scale -- a breathtaking technological revolution!
Steve, it amazaes me how advertising agencies are amazingly slow to accept technological change. They’ll talk about the cool stuff at conferences but not have the courage to get a client to fund it. But once the client realises no one is watching their TV adverts anymore they will have to look for other ways to reach into consumers pockets. And there squashed against the wallet is the mobile phone.
Or actually the Mobile TV phone which can make calls. Steve, that's why Mobile TV (cellevision) will get the ad budgets. Mobile TV even has the ability to provide direct buy-it-now links to mobile websites from inside programmes. Direct response like we've never seen before.
Just as TV will have to evolve, so will advertising. We've seen the start of it with premium rate phone lines for X-Factor and the like, but it will take time for more new models to emerge. That time is what will allow conventional TV to shuffle aside and make space for TvPhones.....is Edelman tuned in to mobile TV?
Have a great weekend!
